| New building/landscape selected for "green" testing program
Assurity supports our local Meals on Wheels May, 2010 – Currently, there are approximately 5,000 Meals On Wheels programs operating in the U.S., providing over one million meals each day to seniors. Ninety Assurity associates are involved in our local Meals on Wheels program through Tabitha Health Care Services, delivering noon meals at our "adopted" building Monday through Friday. This year's Lincoln Meals on Wheels volunteers were selected to receive the 2010 Nebraska Governor's Points of Light Award.
