Assurity Center is a high-tech environment throughout, combining the most sophisticated equipment and processes with the flexibility to anticipate future technological advances. The building incorporates extensive state-of-the-art features, including high-performance mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems equipped with computer-driven energy management controls. Room occupancy sensors promote lighting energy efficiency.

The new “unified” communications technology facilitates collaboration by expanding the tools available to us. Telephone and computer systems are integrated to enhance many functions, from managing and dispatching calls in our contact centers, to messaging and teleconference capabilities, both internally and externally.

Videoconferencing allows a few individuals or a group of associates to quickly launch what appears to be a “live” meeting—from their own computers and without actually being face-to-face. Conference rooms are equipped with flat-screen monitors and projectors to conduct webinars and video conferencing in a more formal setting.

Security protocols are designed for safety of occupants and for safeguarding the nonpublic personal information of clients as required by federal privacy laws. All persons entering the building must pass the main lobby desk, which is staffed 24 hours per day, and use their electronic identification badge to pass through security turnstiles. The access control system regulates entry into the building during nonbusiness hours, as well as use of restricted areas, elevators and stairwells at all times.
