Top Ten United Way Community Supporter
In April of 2010, Assurity was named among the top ten community supporters as in terms of dollars raised for the United Way. The company had received this award in 2009 for 2008 giving as well. Additionally, Assurity associates earned the number 6 position in Top 10 United Way Fund supporters. (The United Way Fund is supported through undesignated gifts given during the 2009 campaign.)

Cornerstone Award
Assurity received the prestigious Lincoln Chamber of Commerce Cornerstone Award in 2008. This award is presented annually to a local company that shows outstanding leadership through involvement in civic activities and innovative, customer-driven services. Governor's Excellence in Wellness Award
Assurity earned the Governor's Excellence in Wellness Award presented by Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman in 2008 for its program promoting associates' wellness and healthy living.

Integrity Award

President's Volunteer Service Award
Assurity earned the President's Volunteer Service Award recognizing home office associates' participation in the Meals on Wheels program. Assurity received the Bronze level award in both 2007 and 2008.
